When I was learning to code, the ideas were never the problem — the roadblocks were. Hosting cost money. Domains cost money. Databases, compute, the "real" tools everyone else seemed to already have — all of it sat behind a paywall right when a student is most eager to build. Too many people quit there, not because they couldn't do it, but because they couldn't afford to keep going.
Sparkden exists to erase that barrier. We give students free programming education, real cloud to actually host and ship their projects on SparkCloud, mentorship from people who've been there, and the resources that normally cost money — so the only thing between a student and their first real project is the will to build it.

We're raising $65,000 by the end of 2026 to put us on track to reach hundreds of thousands of students in the years that follow. Every dollar is mapped to a purpose on our public roadmap, and we're happy to share detailed budgets on request. Have a region-restricted or earmarked grant? We honor it — those funds go straight to outreach and a dedicated support team in your specified area.
